Fred has nearly 30 years of experience in Māori healthcare and education. His work experience includes government, University of Auckland, Head of Healthcare Faculty for an Auckland-based international tertiary Institution, Auckland DHB, Māori Mental Health, and Teacher Training. Fred is on the Visionwest Community Trust Executive Team where he leads the Māori leadership team to support Kaupapa Māori development across the organisation. Fred is currently completing his MA thesis on Māori Transformational Leadership.
